Today, our new music spotlight is on Llovers

Location: Teesside

Line-up: Jack Brooks (vocals/guitar), David Macnab (vocals/guitar), Joe Connor (Bass/Backing Vocals), Ben Connor (Synth/Backing Vocals) and Matty Jenkinson (Drums)

About: Llovers are a 5 piece indie-pop band from the North East of England. Arriving in late 2016, Llovers produce dream driven tracks channelled with unquestionable pop sensibility.

The idea for the band was formed at McDonalds, where David and Jack both worked, as a means to escape the golden arches. Lyrically, Llovers explore the uncertainties of life and love. Their stories and discussions are often purposefully contradictory and focus on how passages in time expose the fickle nature of thoughts and feelings. These lyrics are backed up with tight harmonies and perfectly crafted dreamy soundscapes.

What Hidden Herd say: Llovers return with a delectable taste of the 80’s, soaking in their trademark rain of psychedelia showering down from the British north.
