Praa‘s lo-fi/minimalist electro on ‘Modeling Clay‘ carries a quality that tickles the ears; a pulsing bass and delicate falsetto voice that perfectly complement each other to offer a sound that’s both twee and modern. This style certainly has it’s own charm, and brings the French artist some immediate notoriety, mixing some of the upbeat intonations of Lily Allen and Kate Nash with the modern, noir-RnB atmosphere of BANKS and Lorde.

Leading up to her debut LP release, Praa has experimented with an eclectic base of influences and sounds whilst still maintaining a minimalist approach to her music. In doing so, she can flitter between genres and mood but still keep her trademark sound in place.
