Fraser A’ Gorman jumps in with both feet, exercising a feel good mix of blues and country that makes his music incredibly accessible. Think the nostalgic tick-along feel of Bob Dylan fused with the more expansive penchant of Tobias Jesso Jr, and that’s not to say he doesn’t have an intimate side to offer (his other recent release ‘Blues Run the Game’ is also not one to be missed).

New singer-songwriters are often intimidated by introducing too many new instruments to their music, and so they seek solace behind their one chosen partner, be that guitar or piano. Gorman is ahead of the game if he has jumped that hurdle at the start of his career, and we look forward to seeing what comes next.
