Haize‘s second single erupts out of Reading with ethereal coos and swooning guitars. Their previous track ‘Solar’ showed a penchant for dreamlike harmonies and anthemic drums – a trend they’ve kept strong in their second offering. The track begins with a reasonable nod towards mid-noughties rock, utilising strong rhythm and ever-moving lead guitars.

Like Saltwater Sun (who they support at the Purple Turtle today for BBC Introducing), their licks are hazy and sun-kissed, throwing reverb and crunch at their listeners with seductive ease. This second track affirms their right to play to the masses, and shows no dip in their creativity or appeal.
