The title track for Harry Pane‘s new EP is a haunting opener, entertaining a pleasing mix of solid bluegrass americana and folk. Pane’s vocals show some of the gnarl and huskiness of Ben Howard, but unlike Howard, Pane’s music carries some of that southern charm which can usually only be found on the other side of the Atlantic.

The team behind the EP shows some exceptional accolades, recorded with Dani Castelar (Paolo Nutini, REM, Snow Patrol) and mastered by Mandy Parnell (The xx, LCD Soundsystem, John Marytn), giving Pane’s music depth and polish. Having won ‘Best original Artist’ with the PRS #RoadToThe100Club campaign, as well as an extensive touring schedule this summer, the Changing EP appears to have marked an early turning point in Pane’s journey.
