Fast-rising foursome Wild Front have been on the HIDDEN HERD radar for some time now, but their most recent single ‘Tumble Party’ sees the Hampshire band step up a gear.

With tropical licks in the vein of Brighton’s The Island Club and floaty melodies that bring to mind Londoners Gengahr, their new trackΒ is a masterclass in glistening guitar pop that transports listeners to warmer climes with its exotic mix of throwback FM rock, hip hop grooves and arena-aspiring indie. The song’s breezy refrain and brilliantly unabashed solo are particularly unshiftable, both toying with 80s tastelessness in the best possible way.

Kindred acts Sundara Karma, Beach Baby and Blaenavon may have dominated playlists as the frost lifted last year, but Southampton quartet Wild Front have made an early charge for kaleidoscopic rock nugget of summer 2017.
