4am’s musical prowess suitably fits their name, using surreal soundscapes and sultry vocals to guide the listener into a welcome trance, both inward looking and subtly beat-conscious. Similarly to the previously-featured Starling, this balance is crafted to perfection, and refrains from diving head first into over-produced instrumentals and misguided post-effects.

With just enough bounce to keep you moving, and a generous lashing of intimacy to keep you captivated, this London-based boy-girl duo do well to steal attention away from your more mainstream club acts, and are much more attractive to the perhaps more attentive audience of lo-fi electronica.

As the only track on their Soundcloud page, this seems to be a strong start for the newly-born duo.
