Thudding along with a ‘Go With The Flow’ QOTSA drive, ‘Coming Down’ captures loud attitude in a similar vein to Jack White and Band of Skulls. Like all of the aforementioned groups, their sounds hark back to good old-fashioned rock and roll, pushing their instruments to the limit within rather modest realms of tone effects and post-production.

Best listened to (very) loud, Blind Motive could put a spring in the step of even the gloomiest commuters, throwing down enough attitude in the process to warrant an urban riot. Their self-penned ‘bruise rock’ is a welcome clash of noise and is seemingly timed perfectly for the next UK-based surge of rock bands, joining Royal Blood and Wolf Alice for the ride.
