Kins kick this song into swing instantly, setting the tempo for this genre-bending (and awe-inducing) track.
The music is at stark contrast to the vocals by lead singer Thomas Savage, which bare resemblance to the falsetto mastery of James Vincent McMorrow. However, this contrast is pulled off incredibly well, and the result is a confident attack on a corner of the alt-pop landscape which is definitely in need of a breath of fresh air. Their commitment to experimentation and self-purpose could sit this band beside artists such as Alt-J, and the four-piece have certainly made their music just as infectious.
Keep it coming, Kins.
