The vocals in this song are instantly captivating, with a similar stripped-back intro to Lorde‘s ‘Royals’. Similarly to Lorde, Lupa J is a young talent. At just 17, she is both an accomplished producer and classically trained violinist; this gives her music more of a calculated touch which is subtly noticeable against a noir-pop background.

Delicately entering the field aside other new female artists poised for stardom (in similar circles to artists like Shura), the young producer stands a good chance if she continues to experiment into her adult years.
