Today, our new music spotlight is on Dantevilles.

Location: Manchester, UK

Line-up: Jamie Gallagher (guitar, vocals), Connor McNicholas (bass, vocals), Paul Tanton (guitar) and  Alexis Panidis (drums).

About: Following the success of debut E.P “Dantevilles”, and recent single “Bloomin Flowers”, which saw plays on Radio 1 and BBC6 Music, a duo of sold out Manchester shows at Band On The Wall and Soup Kitchen, and support from the likes of NME, Clash, and EarMilk, Manchester’s Dantevilles new single “Fool For You” is available now via Lovers Music.

Once again produced by Courteeners bassist Joseph Cross, “Fool For You” is about “A relationship that was very one-sided, but unknowingly one-sided. You can’t chase something that has inevitably ended no matter how strong you thought it was, if you do, you’re simply being a fool for them.”

What Hidden Herd say: Dantevilles return with a heavy-hitting dose of dancefloor indie, complete with snappy, meticulous percussion and a charged British-grit that has us harking back to some of the best new rave influences of the early noughties. On ‘Fool For You’, Dantevilles may have just created your perfect summer track.
