Today, our new music spotlight is on EXILED.
Location: BRISTOL/SHEFFIELD
Line-up: Max Clutterbuck (Lead Vocal/Guitar); Jack Berry (Lead Guitar/Vocals); Henry Robinson (Bass/vocals); Ethan Reeves (Drums/Vocals)
About: Max, Jack, Henry and Ethan are four students that make up Bristol/Sheffield based Indie Rock band Exiled, the love child of a steamy one night stand between The Wombats & Catfish and The Bottlemen, with a guitar led sound made for good times, rough nights and growing up. Debut single ‘Remind Me’ describes strobe lit uni life with infectious, unassuming charm. Along with the follow up singles Block 2 and Oh My it prompted BBC Introducing Sheffield’s Christian Carlisle to describe Exiled as “perfectly executed indie pop” with arena filling tunes.
What Hidden Herd say: ‘Luna’s anthemic embrace cuts straight through the cold British winter; a melodic delight that channels the strongest influences from the best of the UK’s indie scene.
