The single creative mind can sometimes uncover some true musical gems, offering a sole vision to be executed in a way that comes across untamed and sincere. The latest release from Melbourne’s Freya is just that and offers some of Australia’s trademark blissed-out sound with ‘Nineteen Hours’; a summer-tinged ode that resembles the care-free musings of Alex G.

However, with a repertoire that offers considerably more depth beyond the surface, Freya has also bought flavours of other genres to the table, experimenting with electronica on previous tracks such as ‘Older Eyes’ with much success. She is currently in the process of writing her sophomore LP, set for release in 2018.
