Today, our new music spotlight is on Glass Peaks.

Location: London

Line-up: Alfie Jefferies (vocals/bass), Jake Cox (vocals/guitar) and Grant Tugwell (drums)

About: After bursting onto the scene in 2016, Glass Peaks have earned themselves the title of one of the UK’s biggest breakout bands. Their diverse musical palette sees them pen tunes with hook-laden riffs, driving indie beats and gorgeous bass undertones, all tied up with distinct vocals and harmonies. The band’s 2017 single ‘I’m Okay’ hit The Indie List on Spotify for four weeks and, in turn, the United Kingdom Viral 50. The release also caught the attention of tastemakers and listeners – most recently, the boys were named as ones to watch by This Feeling and Fred Perry Subculture.

What Hidden Herd say: Atmospheric guitars, fat drums and gravelly vocals combine to create titanic rock songs; the sort that beg to be blasted from 11-foot high speaker stacks.
