Today’s new music spotlight is on Lacuna Bloome.

Location: Brighton

Line-up: Niall Logue (vocals/guitar), Sam Leaver (guitar), Molly Walker (bass) and Noah Haines (drums)

About: Lacuna Bloome are an emerging four-piece band from Brighton, playing soaring indie rock with massive multi-layered guitars and anthemic choruses.

After performances over the Great Escape weekend and Truck Festival this summer, the release of their latest single ‘Plastic’ is the first instalment of their forthcoming debut EP – coming soon.

It follows previous singles ‘Find Your Way’ and ‘I Am’, which each garnered support from the likes of John Kennedy and Gordon Smart at Radio X, with both tracks being made Track Of The Week. ‘Find Your Way’ also arrived whilst on the road for the band’s first national tour, supporting Trampolene as part of This Feeling and Metropolis Music’s Alive Tour.

What Hidden Herd say: Need a swaggering soundtrack to this drizzly weekday? Brighton’s Lacuna Bloome have got you covered. With summer already a distant memory, the anthemic quartet’s soaring new single has arrived right on cue – listen to ‘Plastic’, a shimmering slice of autumnal guitar-pop that builds to a euphoric finale.
