Today, our new music spotlight is on Lacuna Bloome.

Location: Brighton

Line-up: Niall Logue (vocals/guitar), Sam Leaver (guitar), Frankie South (bass) and Jake Lillywhite (drums)

About: Four-piece indie rock band Lacuna Bloome write songs with catchy melodies, soaring guitars and anthemic choruses. It’s been a busy 12 months for the band. Only forming in March of last year, they were almost immediately picked up to appear at The Great Escape Festival just two months later. They’ve since supported Otherkin whilst on their debut album tour, and have shared the stage with the likes of Cassia and Marsicans. After releasing their debut single ‘Only One’ in August, they sold out their first headline show at The Prince Albert in Brighton. No mean feat for a band less than a year old. Since releasing their second single ‘Alright’ in February, Lacuna Bloome have gained attention from the likes of Dan Alani (Reprezent Radio) and Shell Zenner (Amazing Radio), proving they’re ones to watch for 2018.

What Hidden Herd say: Anthemic Brightonians Lacuna Bloome ooze exuberance, channeling Sundara Karma and the like with energetic swoon-worthy guitar-pop that soars and shimmers.
