Today, our new music spotlight is on New Luna.

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom.

Line-up: Tommy Deedigan (vocals/guitar), Zack Bamber (guitar), Toby Duncan (bass/vocals), Nathan Gray (drums).

About: A staple band of Manchester’s underground alternative scene, New Luna continue to establish themselves as an act pushing dream-pop and post-indie music in a forward direction. Drawing comparisons to Radiohead, Lift To Experience and The Chameleons, the band introduced themselves with the “brilliantly forward-thinking noisy rock” (Piccadilly Records) of 2016’s self-titled debut EP, while recent singles Opinionated and Knew Too reached #3 and #2 on Hype Machine’s Worldwide Blog Chart and gained support from Clash, Dork, It’s All Indie and BBC Introducing.

What Hidden Herd say: ‘Red Music’s’ pulsing intro builds an almost unquenchable thirst for the rest of the track; a dramatic ballad that flitters with delicate guitars and crisp cymbal rides before exploding into a crescendo that grabs and just doesn’t let go.
