Encapsulating sounds from a pleasing variety of eras and genres, the London based band Night Flight‘s upcoming second EP Carousel is a stunning journey centred around topics ranging from the lust and isolation of chasing a dream, to personal defiance and resilience in search of closure. The new EP is set for release in June via CRC Records.

Speaking on the recently released new single ‘Parade‘, frontman and lead songwriter Sam Holmes explains ‘Parade‘ is…”A conversation between ex-partners set some time after their break up. While the motive is for cathartic reconciliation, it quickly turns into a passive aggressive back and forth of one-upmanship.”

What Hidden Herd say:Parade‘ is delivered as a sincere, haunting opus, carrying tender flavours of Fleet Foxes and Broken Bells in tow. The London quintet’s intimate harmonies and calculated refrain set them apart with deserved confidence.
