There have been some killer singles this year – Tame Impala‘s ‘Let It Happen’, the title track from EL VY‘s October-bound debut LP, ‘Go’ by Belfast band Pleasure Beach (which we featured here in July) – and now we’re going to go right ahead and add Slum Sociable‘s latest offering to that esteemed list.

The Melbourne duo have been on our radar for a little while now, but their latest soft-focus jazz hop nugget ‘All Night’ even manages to surpass its brilliant predecessor ‘Anyway’ for otherworldly, hazy hooks.

There’s a chillwave vibe throughout, with nods to Toro y Moi and Washed Out in the track’s whirring sample, but also a hint of Cold War Kids too, as if the Long Beach band had decided to make a record of downtempo pop fit for a smoky café.
