‘Bright Red’ carries a peculiar warmth that could win over many that think that light, catchy indie isn’t for them. Molly Grund’s vocals lay over progressively experimental percussion and melodies that shine an Imogen Heap-shaped ray of light over what people may wrongly believe to be a predictable track.

The 5-piece are based in Montclair NJ, and are the result of an evolutionary two-album process which started in 2011 with Cody Fitzgerald. Now armed with a full band, we can expect a lot more from Stolen Jars in the future.
