Bristol-based Tuusc possesses a darkly-charged knack for enduring, subtle builds that wilfully grip onto your ears and don’t let go. Fair similarities can be cast to Aussie Josef Salvat – both artists create tracks dripping with a swelling, liquid swagger which transposes well on recorded tracks and comes to life when seen live.

A project set up by Matthew Aldus, Tuusc is not necessarily a solo venture nor is it a permanent band. As described on their Soundcloud – “Tuusc is an ever evolving line-up, with the one constant being (Aldus)”. Sure enough to back his own abilities, whilst being humble enough to allow him to complement his music where appropriate should open Tuusc up to a wealth of musical sounds and genres. The previously released ‘Lines We Walk’ is also well worth a listen.
