The chugging percussion in this track teases with a Haim-like appeal. The vocals from Jasmyn Burke are crackly and heartfelt – her voice charms the track with a delightful grace that seems a perfect fit for the track.

The jangly and brash instruments demonstrate the underlying meaning behind the track ‘Coo Coo’, with Burke targeting her lyrics towards a person who’s evidently lost their mind. From start to finish, the track grows in volume and unpredictability, ending on a bang with a sound that so eloquently holds itself together with so much going on.

Weaves play In The Woods festival (2nd-4th September), alongside Benjamin Francis Leftwich and many others.
